Noah has a new classroom and a new lead teacher this year, Ms. Antoinette. It’s always a little bit of a learning curve, but I know they’ll get in a rhythm soon. We’re excited about the new challenges Noah is going to tackle this year!
You will note this is actually Noah’s second day of school, not his first. Because…
Last November, my parents bought a really cool dinner at a March of Dimes auction – someone to come to your home and prepare a meal for 6-10 people, 5 courses, all done by a renowned chef in New Orleans. We had a little bit of an issue getting a time set, but we were finally able to set it all up with Chef Carlos Lainez of the J.W. Marriott in New Orleans. It was simply superb. The food was amazing.

My mom came to visit and got to spend some time in the pool with the kids.
Noah has been in Mayra’s class this year, and has made a lot of progress. But he will be moving into another class in the ABA program for next year, with older kids. Fortunately, his buddy Jackson will also be moving to that class with him, so he already knows someone there as well. We have definitely enjoyed our time in Mayra’s class, and we look forward to what the next year will bring!
We were able to take a pretty quick trip to Wyoming with Martha to visit Sami’s cousin Mike and his wife Kathy. We last went for their son Brent’s wedding several years ago, but the kids didn’t get to really explore the ranch during that visit. We really enjoyed the time on the ranch and visiting with family.
