Sami and the kids couldn’t wait a minute longer to get in the pool, even though the water was still a bit chilly! But they had a blast.
Noah and his classmates worked very hard on the games for this, and they all did so well!
Ring toss. Or ring walk.
Deciding against archery.
A well-deserved snack after a hot and tough athlete’s day!
We had Noah’s party at Discover Gymnastics. They usually have a whole series of activities they follow for a party, but we threw them off course pretty significantly. But the kids all enjoyed themselves, and I think some of the adults did, too (though I can’t guarantee no adults were harmed in the making of this merriment!).
We head home today, so before we could go to the Magic Kingdom, we had to check in our luggage at the hotel. It’s so convenient to be able to check the bags for the flight, even if the Tragical Express ride back to the airport is the worst attraction ever.
One of the things we did in (new) Fantasyland that we’ve never done before is Enchanted Tales with Belle. Basically, you go to Belle’s father’s house, then through Disney magic, are transported to Beast’s castle to participate in a retelling of Belle and Beast’s story. The kids can all get parts in the re-telling if they’re interested – Beast, Maurice, Phillipe (the horse), Mrs. Potts, Chip, etc. They pick the children for the roles, getting everyone to roar to find their Beast. It could be a boy or a girl, doesn’t matter. Guess who had the loudest roar? Yep, Miss Maya. In fact, she startled Elizabeth, she roared so loudly!
My little Beast. She loved it.
